In August 2025, Ferum Will ™ tested its mobile shelters for resistance to blast waves at a testing ground in Rivne Oblast. The purpose of the tests was to confirm the reliability of the structures in real conditions and prove that they are capable of protecting lives in critical situations.
The Boomie Light, Safe, and Zen models were involved in the tests. During the experiments, 2-kilogram TNT charges were detonated on each side of the shelters from a distance of 3 metres or less. This recreated a close combat explosion or shelling, which is extremely dangerous to life. In such a case, light structures (glass, partitions) are completely destroyed, buildings suffer significant damage, and people and valuables are in maximum danger. All shelters of the Ferum Will ™ successfully withstood the pressure of the blast wave, debris and other damaging factors, confirming their effectiveness.
Briefly about the models that were tested:
- ‘Boomie Light / Light Max’ – lightweight mobile shelters for four people, designed for indoor installation; withstand shock waves of up to 100-110 kPa, drone debris and mines.
- ‘Safe’ – a round structure for 10 people with 20 mm thick steel, which provides reliable protection indoors and outdoors.
- ‘Zen’ – a shelter for 15 people, equipped with benches, lighting and a protective screen, which guarantees comfort and safety even during long stays.
We are currently undergoing certification under the new state standard DSTU 9329:2025 ‘Primary Mobile Shelters,’ and have previously obtained compliance with DSTU 9195:2022 ‘Quickly Constructed Modular Civil Defence Structures.’
We are proud to create protective solutions that have proven their effectiveness in practice. Ferum Will ™ shelters are designed to save the lives of civilians, military personnel, enterprise employees, schoolchildren, and hospital patients.
Our goal is to ensure that everyone who finds themselves in danger has a reliable space for safety. We will save!
